The Star City Pride Festival is located in the heart of downtown Lincoln, and is a celebration of community, family and culture. Produced by Star City Pride, Inc., the festival provides the LGBTQIA community and its allies a safe place to celebrate and be themselves. With more than 5,000 visitors each year, the Star City Pride Festival invites Nebraskans and the surrounding areas to come out and enjoy the music, entertainment, food, child & youth activities, as well dancing into the night.
April Carrión - Friday Night Headliner
April Carrión was a contestant on Season 6 of Ru Paul's Drag Race. She was named Miss Krash Puerto Rico in 2011, was the face of the Puerto Rican Queer Film Festival in 2012, starred in Gloria Estefan's "Hotel Nacional" video, and was also in the 2014 documentary, "Mala Mala."

Floor is Lava - Saturday Night Headlining Band
FLOOR IS LAVA is our Saturday Night headlining band for the 2018 Star City Pride Festival! Floor is Lava is a Lincoln-based dance-rock band who recently won the 2018 Stella Award for Best Musical Ensemble. Founding members Bob Spire, guitar, and drummer Sean Brandt, added the amazing Molly Sharp as lead vocalist, as well as Reggie Lilly on bass and Gregg Witfoth on guitar/vocals.
This high energy group brings the party everywhere they go! Whether they're rocking classics or crushing modern hits, you are guaranteed to have an awesome time when Floor is Lava takes the stage Saturday, June 2nd at the Lincoln Journal Star lot!
Faleasha Savage - Featured Headliner
Faleasha Savage was born in Nebraska and currently resides in Arizona. She has racked up titles and awards all over the country, including Miss Gay United States, Miss Max, Miss Q, Miss City Sweetheart, Miss Entertainer of the Year Minnesota, and is the current Miss Gay United States Icon!
Jacob St. Aubin - Friday Night Featured Performer
Jacob St. Aubin is an LA-based recording artist who released his EP, "Supercharge" in 2014 and has performed all over California, including The Viper Room and the Los Angeles Pride Parade. His music is both energetic and uplifting, so you don't want to miss it when Jacob takes the Star City Pride stage Friday, June 1st at the Lincoln Journal Star Tailgate Lot!
Holmes Street - Saturday Night Featured Band
Holmes Street is a Kansas City–based all-female powerhouse Holmes Street covers a wide range of feel-good rock, pop, country, and indie tunes, from Johnny Cash to Joan Jett, Guns N’ Roses, Miranda Lambert, and P!nk. Performing together since 2011, Holmes Street is a five-time winner of the Audience Choice Award at the annual HRC Battle of the Bands hosted by Human Rights Campaign-Kansas City. This is no low-key chick band—these ladies know how to get a crowd moving! Members are Tracey Stowe on lead vocals, Susanna Barchak on guitar and vocals, Pamela Beihl on guitar and vocals, Ann Scida on drums, and Michelle Daniel on bass guitar. Together, these high-spirited songsters deliver a rockin’, crowd-pleasing performance every time. When people come to a Holmes Street gig, they have fun! Ramon Ventura - Friday Night Featured Entertainer
Living in Chicago, entertainer Ramon Ventura is from Rio deJaneiro, Brazil, and is the current reigning Mr. Continental. At 22, he has a great history of work in Brazil and around the world as a international performer. Among his international performances and work are Colombia, Switzerland, France and Germany. His first time to the U.S. was in 2015 where he worked in several Florida cities. Ramon Ventura is a former Mr. Europe Continental 2016 and Mr. Liberty Continental 2017.
Giselle Jacobs - Friday Night Featured Entertainer
Giselle Jacobs currently lives in Sioux City, Iowa. She travels throughout the Midwest, USA to perform and entertain through Drag. When she is not entertaining she is actively helping friends and family compete for pageants in the local area in the drag and trans community. She is very excited to be back at Star City Pride to entertain and have an amazing experience with our community. And we are happy to have her!
